Is it now July? My goodness green, time flies like a calendar in a Cessna when you're not looking at the meat. Anyway, since our last meeting me Arthur and Maz have been in some strange places. Here is a brief resumé in pictures... Yum...We went for a diving lesson at the London School of Diving in Chiswick. Breathing underwater is like breathing above it, only wetter. We met the lovely Farmer and Kate (APOTSPOAB #473 & #474) The next day, from a suggestion from William (APOTSPOAB # 411) we tried to buy a particular tent for our travels around the UK. So, 20 miles outside London in Brentwood we found it and also the lovely Lewis and super Paul in Field and Trek!
On Friday, we met everyone from the C4 comedy website over in Southwark. It was brill to put names to faces and signed photograph to hands. It was put together by Danny (right) who is a crackingly funny chap. I think he lives in Kent. Is this blog turning into a list of things in a very boring fashion. A lot of "we did this", "we did that" or "we did it, I confess?" Sorry about that. Never mind sod it...On the way home sat waiting for the tube at Baker Street I accosted (APOTSPOABism) two jolly men on the platform over a half eaten burger... (too greasy to explain now - wait for the book... oh sheet I've got relish on it...!)
Then Saturday, we went (you see, I've done it again, why the feck didn't I just do a bullet list it would have been cheaper... what about "we found ourselves", ok...Then Saturday we found ourselves (see a bit of variation is good for you) down at Piccadilly meeting the ace Danny Wallace (left)...
Now this was a bit special for me as I am a big fan, and also he has been stalking me for a while. (remember the "Join Me" Horse and Groom pub in Great Portland Street, that used to be my local too going way back as we used to rehearse over the road)
So to even the stalkscales we went to a signing of his new book "Friends like These". Cracking chap! I must say he was very blasé about the whole stalking thing. He didn't mention it at all...
On the way home I randomly walked into comedian Rob Deb in the urine soaked subway under Tottenham Court Road (the underground tunnel not the sandwich place and Rob doesn't smell of piss) Rob is a super hero.
Anyway, over the last week or so we've picked up over 20 APOTSPOAB's and nearly cracked 500... I will return shortly with my stegasaurus to write more about the UK tour, the show, and some stuff happening soon... much love, Anna (Ana) xxx
